I would hardly call some of the stuff Elon posts (or reposts) "innocuous". Maybe at one point, but he's crossed that line quite a few times now. Elon's problem (among many) is that he wants to be a main character of the internet, but he's not clever or funny enough to rise above the level of "reply guy with a megaphone". He shares the same dumb shit that a wannabe edgelord 8th grade boy would share, and with the same level of forethought.
