Worst Tweets 2024 - Preliminary Rounds
Vote on which bad takes will make the 2024 bracket!
Welcome to the preliminary round of voting for the Worst Tweets bracket!
Over the last year, I’ve saved more than 600 extremely bad tweets for use in the bracket. In the last week I’ve tried to categorize them on a scale of one through four:
Fours - Not really that bad, all things considered.
Threes - Quite bad, but probably not unique or funny enough to be in the bracket
Twos - Real contenders, extremely bad tweets
Ones - Absolute locks, cannot be denied
The bracket has 64 available slots and in my first pass I classified about 90 tweets as category one, absolutely must be included. This is something of a problem.
So I’m turning to you, readers, to help me narrow down the field into the final 64. Below you’ll find a number of tweets on specific topics, discourses and more along with links to vote. Not all of them can make the bracket, so choose wisely. Due to all the images included, this post is FAR too long to read in email, so be sure to click through to the actual blog.
