They Killed The Squirrel

There’s a problem I have every once in a while doing this job. I’ll have a great story to tell about some crazy social media event, but it requires context to understand. I’ll try to tell a friend and start with “Ok, so the first thing you need to know is who ‘BasedTradGooner’ is. He’s a poster in the ‘FlooperStorm’, which is a group of…” and then realize that their eyes have already glazed over, and I sound like an insane person.

So at the risk of sounding insane (deep breath)…

A gay OnlyFans model named ‘Squirrel Daddy’ had an adopted pet squirrel who became internet famous. Then someone got mad at him and reported the squirrel to wildlife authorities, and they attempted to seize the squirrel, and the squirrel bit a cop while this was happening, so they euthanized the squirrel, and now Elon Musk is squirrelposting and MAGA fans are convinced this will help win the election for Trump.
