Antifa is Anonymous
Last week Donald Trump had a big meeting to discuss the most crucial issue in our troubled country. Not the price of living, which is higher than ever. Not the rising chance of economic recession. Not rising political violence. Trump was hitting the real issue - what’s going on with those Antifa guys?
The White House hosted an Antifa Roundtable this week and it was a clown show of sycophants rushing to condemn a group that, we should be clear, does not really exist. Republicans talk about Antifa so often you’d be forgiven if you didn’t realize how fake this all is, so I want to hammer home the point - this is extremely, extremely fake. There is no President of Antifa sitting in his office at Antifa HQ, sending out Antifa memos to his loyal Antifa agents. There is no organization called Antifa, there is no leadership, there’s basically nothing.
Antifa, such as it amounts to anything, is a meme. The best way to conceptualize Antifa is that it’s a modern version of Anonymous, the infamous hacker group from the early 2000s.
