How 2010's Tumblr explains the news
Three stories caught my eye last week. One was about elite universities, one was about a specific student essay at a public university, and one was simply a cozy post that went viral for the wrong reasons. While these stories all concern different subjects, have different politics and hit separate parts of social media, they all stem back from one website: early 2010s Tumblr.
