From the land of Ice and Fire
You may have noticed it’s been quiet around here in June!
Partially this is because I’ve been writing a few things over at The Argument, pieces like The Age of Snark and Sometimes you have to hurt people.
But more fundamentally, for the last nine days or so I’ve been on vacation with my extended family in Iceland.
I first visited Iceland in 2015, and I’ve been back eight or nine times at this point. I find it to be one of the most interesting countries in the world, packed with gorgeous geography, natural wonders, and a surprisingly great capital city. I’ve always wanted to bring the rest of my family, and this year we made it happen.
So! Apologies for the light month this June, while I fulfill a lifelong dream. But I promise that I’ve got some very, very cool stuff just around the corner and I can’t wait to get back to the States and share it with you.
On that note:

It’s a beautiful place. Enjoy your trip; we’ll be eagerly awaiting your analysis of all the latest global shenanigans when you get back.
